I am an experienced Litigation Law Clerk/Legal Assistant. I have a Paralegal Diploma accompanied by 5 years experience in civil/commercial, construction, family law, insolvency and restructuring/mergers, employment / labour law, as well as personal injury / insurance defence and other areas of litigation. I am a stay-at-home mom and have access to email (Outlook), the internet, Microsoft Office suite and a business telephone. I can perform the the following tasks: -Knowledge of Ontario Rules of Civil Procedure, as well as Small Claims Rules -Legal Research -Docketing -Dicta Typing -Drafting correspondence / memos -Accounts and invoicing -Drafting Affidavits of Documents, Document Books, Motion Records, Trial Records, (Preliminary drafting of Statements of Claim, Statements of Defence, Replys and Third Party claims) for Superior Court as well as Small Claims court etc. -Schedule meetings, motions, settlement meetings and set trial dates. -Prepare files for trial -General office administration I can forward a copy of my resume upon request as well as provide references.
